My approach
My approach is flexible and person-centred, meaning that our sessions are guided by what feels most important to you. Together, we can find an approach that feels right for you and supports what you want to achieve from therapy.
Person-centred
Your experiences, needs and goals are at the heart of our work.
At your pace
We'll explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a way that feels comfortable and manageable.
Practical support
CBT strategies can be incorporated where they may be helpful.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change"
Carl Rogers

About me
My journey to becoming a counsellor began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I found myself facing a challenging period in my own life and realised that I needed support. Reaching out for counselling was a pivotal decision. In that safe, empathic and non-judgemental space, I was able to reflect, gain clarity and begin to understand what I truly wanted.
My counsellor supported me to recognise the changes I needed to make, inspiring me to discover a new and fulfilling pathway and, ultimately, to train as a counsellor myself.
Today, I feel privileged to be able to offer that same sense of support and acceptance to my clients.
I understand how difficult it can be to take that first step and talk to someone, and I aim to provide a space where you can feel heard, understood and able to explore what is important to you.
My experience and qualifications
I hold a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People (CYP).
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work primarily from a person-centred approach.
I have experience supporting adults and young people with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement and life changes. Where appropriate, I can also incorporate practical CBT strategies alongside my person-centred approach.

I work with adults and young people (from age 11), providing a safe, confidential
